So is Enclave after me now?

So is Enclave going to be after me now because I decided to kill the slavers at Lincoln memorial?

I don't even think I saw any of them until I finished that quest and one recently saw me and opened up with a plasma rifle.

Just wondered if it would be more frequent and I'd be fighting them as much as raiders.

 

I thought maybe Enclave radio would point me out as their enemy but so far, just looping the same speech for last 40 hours.

No, they don't care about the slavers. There is a trigger for them in the Main Quest but it sounds as if you haven't reached that point yet and are only running into the lone "scouts" introduced by having Broken Steel installed.

I haven't made it to the vault 112 part of father quest yet but this is my first playthrough so I keep putting off that branch.

I think I'm running out of levels though. But goty so must be that Broken Steel thx.

Enclave troopers show up more and more as you progress in levels, before vault 112 ever comes up. They are automatically hostile, unlike the BOS and Outcasts one might encounter. As far as I can tell, they very often spawn singly near the water tower East of Megaton, the water tower NE of Fairfax Heights and just to the NE of Dukov's Place.

 

Taking them down does not mess up the overall plotline in any way. If you have gained the Outcast trade deal, Enclave armours are a very highly valued item.
