patch prob ghoul sfx then fade to black then to norm repeat

installed new patch and new nvse

 

When game starts

Ghoul sfx

fade to black for a few secs

Ghoul sound

fade back to world

repeats over and over

 

no nvse or nvmm still happens, new game doesnt fix it. somene else had same prob. said remove all mods fixed it but game not worth playng without mods.

 

UPDATE: SOLVED!!! It has to do with various mods so the company would not have been able to solve it.

 

So far it was caused by enclave commander, Jarelle Perk Pack and a mod that added a basement or undergournd house in goodsprings. There may be others causing the problem.

 

Different people said different mods but the process of finding it was the same.

Deselect all mods.

The effect will go away.

Then re select 3 or so mods at a time untill the effect reapears.

Then figure out which of the last 3 is the one causing the problem.

 

I thought it might have to do with where the mod was in the load list but the problem persisted when I reactivated it in another location in the loadlist. It was the mod itself.

 

It has worked for the people who tried it.

I having the same issue, trying to narrow down which mod is causing it.

me to i reset the mods and deleted NVSE it really made me mad

I updated NVSE again this morning, disabled all my mods and it worked, saved at that point, and then turned them on in groups till the problem started, then started turning off the mods in the last batch one by one till I narrowed it down.

 

for me the culprit was a mod called "homebunker"

 

I deleted it, have all the other mods I was using back on and having no issues now.

Enclave commander causes this to happen also it needs to be updated meanwhile disable the mod

I made a fix for it. It has a few side effects but should work for now.

Nope it definatly was Jarelle Perk Pack. I will continue loading a few mods each time to see if anything else I have causes this and report back
