Yes 16x is recommended, make sure to put them side by side so the sli bridge can reach the other card, all sli motherbaords have them close enough so it'll reach perfectly.

Silly the one i just mentioned has them, i wouldn't recommend one that doesn't :thumbsup:

do believe that one doesn't have to sli pci slots hmm.

oo the one thing it doesnt have, which i want my mobo to have, is USB 3.0. i cant utilize it yet, but i want to be able to when it becomes the next standard :P

I highly recommend it, i almost thought of buying it, i need a motherboard update. running out of pci slots, can't put anything else in my case so far, the only thing i have left is a single pci e slot.

thats the pci epress slots, thats differect from the pci slots. they by default are 16x for sli.

just not one of those 16x though.
