hoofhearted4
lol i was always looking for 2 pci e x16 slots, which apparently only come on more expensive boards. finding just two pci slots (which always run at x16 for gfx cards, which you just tought me) is a hell of a lot easier. lol and cheaper but the board i listed had the 2 pci slots i want, as well as USB 3.0 and AM3+ AND its cheaper (almost $100 then the sabertooth i had picked out lol) thanks so much for your help Thor!!!! anything else on that list you have any suggestions for?! hoofhearted4
lol im all set with $370. i only want a 2.1, i might consider a 5.1 but idk where id put the extra speakers in my room, lol i dont have a square room and idk where id get the best set up, but if i can find a 5.1 for under $50 then im good. but ill mostly have headphones on anyways so nothing too fancy is required the other thing about having a 5.1 is id have to have wires running from my speakers all over my room, and im not putting money into a wireless set up.....the more i think about it, the more a 2.1 sounds perfect for me :) on that note still need a headset, though thats not top priority. i can settle for ipod earbuds :P Edited August 7, 2011 by hoofhearted4
Thor.
This is the pair of headphones i use, if you want a great sounding pair, look and ask around for headphones with the base driver built in. mainly its a mini amp inside the headphones itself. example http://www.amazon.co...e/dp/B000089GN3 Edited August 7, 2011 by Thor. hoofhearted4
hey Thor i have another question, i figure ill ask here instead of starting a new thread. im looking at cd/dvd drives and there is two im chooing from. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135230 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135204 the cheaper one has 2 mb of cache as opposed to the 1.5 of the other one, however the cheaper is OEM. so im curious as to what kind of software comes with a non OEM driver? is it something worth spending the extra $5 to get the non OEM version for so i have the drivers bu "sacrificing" .5mb cache? thanks for help
