I don't like that at all, it's like the illegitimate offspring of an Xbox and an iPad. Touchscreens are fine for phones and tablets but not much use on desktops, laptops or anything you can't quickly wipe the fingerprints off of. A friend of mine bought one of those HP desktops with the touchscreen and after a day or two stopped using the screen, fingerprints and aching arms became an issue. Sure stuff will work with a mouse but if a lot of it is designed for touch then it's going to horrible using a system designed for a different input method. I blame Steve Jobs and the cult of Apple for all this nonsense, I hope I'm not breaking any rules by asking if anyone sees Jobs in the flesh could they possibly give him a swift kick in the googlies from me.

 

I'll stick with Windows 7, if it's not broken don't fix it.
