Instead of assigning home to followers: a simple dismiss command

I didn't know what to search for to see if this already exists, but I imagine at least some people have thought of it before me.

Imagine you're living in a modded player home, and you want Lydia to live in that home as well. Or you join the Dawnguard, and for roleplaying purposes, you want a follower to also join it, and have their home there instead of wherever it may be, so you can grab said follower along when Gunmar or Sorine gives you a mission. Whatever your purposes and needs, I thought of a simple command to give to followers, that dismisses them as if they're supposed to go home, but the command reads "We're going separate ways for a bit. Stay in this area.", and instead of going home, they lounge around in the cell you give them the command, as if that was their home.

I think this is a simple workaround to having to use scripts or what have you to assign a new home to a follower. It would of course require giving the command in the cell in question, but better than nothing. Could this catch on?

Extensive Follower Framework - EFF, gives you a "Bless Home" Spell, for this & allows

you more Followers too. Ultimate Follower Overhaul - UFO, has a similar function.

Most Additional-Follower Mods have some sort of this function. If you want the function

only, just use this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/18045/?
