Oblivion Sound Issue

Recommended Posts

You need to uncheck 'Skip OBSE Plugins' (via the instructions in one of my previous posts) to allow BAIN to install OBGEv3 and OBGE Liquid properly. That's all, unless there was something else you were trying to do. I'm off for tonight, but I'll probably be back online again sometime tomorrow evening. It seems like you're doing pretty well now, anyhow.

Ok, I'll uncheck that and try and figure out what OBGEv3 is. Yea, I'm doing fine aside from the fact my can CTD before it opens, lol. Don't worry about it though, I uninstalled it and moved my steam install to a folder outside Program Files, following the instructions from one of the guides in your sig. As soon as the steam servers will let me reinstall Oblivion I'll hopefully have a working Vanilla game to backup and begin remodding. I'll edit this post if things go south.

Is there a guide or something that can teach me how to use Bash/BAIN and preferably not 1,000,000 pages long?

You can use the one on my site, BAIN Installation. It's pretty short. You can also look at the BAIN Tutorials page for some simple examples. Alt3rn1ty's Wrye Bash Pictorial Guide has tons of screen shots, so it's probably the easiest to follow.

Finally finished my Oblivion install to C:\Games\Steam\Steamapps\common folder and I have to say I'm glad I did, not only can I obviously get to the menu but I don't crash on exit anymore. :D

Well, I'm off to figuring out Wyre Bash and BAIN and installing all my mods one at a time. It's likely you might see another topic crop up from me in the future if I screw something up again, but as of now I can do things on my own again and now I know what not to do.

Thanks a lot for your help.
