Lius
Just a quick question, my character has a face and body color tone mismatch, any fix for this? Face is darker than the body and it looks quite odd. Any help and insight would be appreciated! Thanks!
Riven1978
That is an on going problem it seems and i have never really seen a fix other then the Skin Shader of nifskope but it doesn't actually fix it. It more or less lessens the effect. would it be possible to post a screen of how much the color difference is?
Lius
Good to know im not the only person with that problem. How would you go about the temporarily fix through nifskope? The color difference isnt that huge but still its noticeable. Here's the SS. As you can see the face is a bit dark greyish while the body is a normal skin color. Riven1978
Yeah that is what i was thinking, as far as i know the temp fix won't work for that that is as close as the skin shader will get for them the only way to lessen that is to actually mess with the textures and get the to spots as close together as you can, that will never go away that i have seen (one of the horrid things about the game IMO) but they do make necklaces and such that try to cover or hide the seam line. As i said that has been an on going issue since the inception of the games.
Lius
That sucks! Oh well I mean its only noticeable if you really zoom in close and in certain areas where lighting has its ways. Ugh but still wished there was a fix or smth for it. Im just relieved that its not just me, but at the same time I see SS of others that doesnt seem to have this problem at all. Eh, must be "I mean its only noticeable if you really zoom in close and in certain areas where lighting has its ways". Heh thanks for the reply Riveny you sure made my day! Now time to take down that horrid picture mwha Edited July 9, 2011 by Lius

maboru
Is it just me or is the problem more pronounced since the last patch? I have some NPCs that have actually gone pure white (which does eliminate the neck seam!) but the rest look like they sunbathed with only their head sticking up out of the sand [it happens, just make sure no one puts Powder Puff Girls stickers on your forehead while you're...er...inattentive!]. I have a feeling that they tried to correct the old mismatch in the latest update.
