Kronkio
Oooh, give me ... I started having this idea (I'm sure other have too) for a remade version of Fallout 2 in Fallout Vegas. You'd start off in a cave, fight ants... later on meet the tribal dude to help you, & Vic... Oh the memories heeh.It would be madness. Probably impossible though, because I'd like to see a car operational... But then again, all it needs to do is speed up the travel time. Which brings up the issue of the fast travel map. Instead of instantly traveling, it should have the style of destination / travel / random encounter like in Fallout 2 :D So basically, the car is just mobile storage. It doesn't have to actually move, if you know what I mean lols. I can't mod yet, so... I really have no idea of how hard it would be. Moraelin
Well, the problem is that Fallout 1 and 2 used a completely different engine. So someone would have to actually recreate everything from scratch for the new engine. It's a LOT more work than it sounds. There's a reason most total conversions never get finished. rowtjack07
This would literaly take years, just look at Nerhim for oblivion, that was started basicly asoon as the game came out and it wasn't released until like 2010.
hadoumastery
Only way I see this happening is if it was an official DLC, a brand new official game, or a brand new official game on a different engine.
huntsman2310a
recreating an older game isn't the point of DLC, so I don't see that happening. I think the reason Fallout 2 would be so hard to recreate on the gamebryo engine is because of all that space between the various areas. Which you skipped in fallout 2.
