Apparently my game doesn't detect any of my mods (even after i update all my mods including Armorsmith and AWKCR). when i try re-installing one of them (an eye mod), it crashed. Oh - you have to sign in with that Bethesda.net account that you didn't have or want, too. Oh - and there's no way to sort your loadorder other than manually. One by one. Copied plugins.txt and loadorder.txt from C:\users\Terrordrone\appdata\local\Fallout4 to F:\Steam Library\steamapps\common\Fallout 4 and my save loaded just fine.If anything, this is a good change. No reason to spread files all over your PC when they might as well be in the install directory. Except for save-files. They need to be somewhere else incase something goes horribly wrong. "ashileedo", from Bethesda, said this is a bug and that they should be issuing a hotfix later today. Plugins.txt should remain as it was, in "appdata" apparently. sorrowscythe Posted April 30, 2016 Author Share Posted April 30, 2016 (edited) Okay I asked around the Bethesda Fallout4 forum.They said you have to re-enable the mod plugins thru the Bethesda modnet (Mods section). I tried it. The game finally recognises that there are mods, but it kind of CTD'd in the load screen (I got directed to my desktop, and the game went into a limbo that I shut down with Task Manager). My opinion, Bethesda had redirected (somehow) the game to look for mods in the new "mods" file in the Steam game files. Maybe we need to fix the ini files again? Also, the 'mod' selection/menu item just results in infinite loading (game thinks I'm downloading my mods) - Prob because I have so many and 1 of them is confusing the game (I gave up trying to figure out which, if any, mod was the sole trouble causing issue, but random mods from the 'store' work fine) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
