rednumber Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I'm getting this error now. On top of that, Sim Settlements has somehow become deactivated, and I can't activate it, so I can't load my game without permanently messing up all my settlements. I've tried several variations on logging out and back in, and clicking a lot of different download links. I can't download anything, including NMM. Every click gets me the error box popup.
atchless Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 (edited) I'm also experiencing problems with this. I read on another forum that it was caused by forced SS plugins, which I had. After disabling it, It asked me to login. The problem now is that I cannot log into the Nexus to download mods. I input my username and password and it simply reloads the page without logging me in. Not sure if this helps, but NMM sends and receives the login token just fine. Edit: Using Chrome. Tried using Firefox and it works for me as well. Edited August 18, 2017 by atchless
Madchieften Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I am having this same problem on Chrome, It works fine on Firefox.
rednumber Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I have switched to Edge and I'm able to download again. I'll assume I can fix my other problem by reinstalling. I would like to know if there's anything I can do to fix this issue so I can use Chrome like I did until yesterday.
TesticularPancakes Posted August 18, 2017 Posted August 18, 2017 I am having the same issue, and I can't even download mod files manually. I use chrome and I have to use Opera to get it to work.
Thompsoncs Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Having the issue too. Tried Chrome, Firefox and edge.
joswald1018 Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Same here, Chrome, Firefox, and Edge all pop the error box. Anyone got any ideas?
T4skman Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Same, tried logging out and in and I can't download anything, for any game.
gibbstar Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I've been having this issue as well. I have SS plugin for Chrome, tried disabling it for site but no luck. I tried it on Edge browser like another user suggested and it works. Maybe something with new Chrome update and nexus site?
