tombo89
just as the title say's. I just installed Fallout today with a new clean install and patched to the latest version along with all the DLC packs and ran the game just to make sure. everything checked out and ran fine. so i went ahead and installed a some mods, but now when i start the game I get to the "please standby" or whatever it says loading screen just before the main menu, and it crashes. the only pop i get simply says Fallout 3 has stopped working, nothing else. The only mods Im running are FOOK2, FOSE, CALIBR and two armor mods and a one sniper rifle mod. thats it.
Clockwyrk
This usually happens when you have activated a mod, but it requires another mod that you don't have active. To find out, simply click on the mod in the FalloutLauncher (i'll assume that's what you're using, since you didn't mention using the Mod Manager), and it should say "Parent Masters", and a list of .esm's and/or .esp's. If there is even ONE mod that isn't active that's listed in the Masters list, it won't start. It crashes. So, simply look up the mods that are missing, download them, and activate them. If this isn't the problem, please provide more information... like exactly which mods. It may be a corrupted file, or two mods are conflicting. But most likely, it's because you don't have the parent masters installed and active.

Oh yeah I am using the Mod Manager (guess I should have mentioned that before hand) here's what my load order looks like and yes when I checked everything out, they were all activated when I looked them up in the mod manager. Also I have all the mods/DLC required to run each of these mods. as far as utilities go, again i have Mod manager, script extender, BOSS, archiveinvalidation validated, Fallout3.esmAnchorage.esmThePitt.esmBrokenSteel.esmPointLookout.esmZeta.esmCALIBR.esmFOOK2 - Main.esmFOOK2 - [*censored*] World And Neighbourhood Kit.esmFOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.esmFOOK2 - Main.espFOOK2 - [EVE] Energy Visuals Enhanced.espFOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.espFOOK2 - Mothership Zeta.espMyFOOK2 - No Rape Victims.espMyFOOK2 - Black & White Tranquility Lane.esp3EFdrgplate.espJSBlack'sNanoArmor.espDSG1 Sniper Rifle.espRed Eye Mask & Goggles.espT.Y.R. quicksilverva
your missing EVE FOOK2 - [EVE] Energy Visuals Enhanced.esp is a plugin to allow FOOK2 and EVE to play nicely together, so thats probably where your problem lies. Also, get rid of MyFOOK2 - No Rape Victims and MyFOOK2 - Black & White Tranquility Lane as they are obsolete

Also, get rid of MyFOOK2 - No Rape Victims and MyFOOK2 - Black & White Tranquility Lane as they are obsolete Well I just installed the latest version of EVE and all the other updates and got rid of the the two plugins you mentioned and yet I still have the same problem. just as a precuation, before i installed ANY mods, i made a back up of my Data folder, so that way i wouldnt have to keep re-installing the game, and i also deleted the ini file since a new one would be generated, but still nothing seems to work. here's what my load order looks like now Fallout3.esmAnchorage.esmThePitt.esmBrokenSteel.esmPointLookout.esmZeta.esmCALIBR.esmEVE.esmFOOK2 - Main.ESMFOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.ESMFOOK2 - Main.espFOOK2 - [DIK] DLC Improvement Kit.espFOOK2 - Main [Hotfix].espFOOK2 - DIK [Hotfix].esp3EFdrgplate.esp3EFwandererGear.espEVE.espEVE Operation Anchorage.espG- Backpacks raymochilas.espJSBlack'sNanoArmor.espRed Eye Mask & Goggles.espT.Y.R. davidmount
Have you created a merged patch or bash patch? Didn't see one in your load order.
