Can someone please please remove the block on saving in the pause menu or quicksave ( F5).

Its VERY immersive breaking. I dont wanna spend all my time trying to find a bed instead of enjoying the exploring and quests.

Seriously, why is saving your game a survival issue? i understand needing to eat or sleep or drink and illness and even harder enemies and rad issues. But to stop me saving when i need to anywhere just rips me out of my immersion and makes me hunt for a bed.

I just want the save system to be no different than any other difficulty setting.

I still want all the other survival difficulties.

Ok Bethesda, like seriously you really know how to screw up a good thing!

OMG this 'no save' thing is totally infuriating me. :(

I am spending all my time in a total panic wondering where the closest place is i can sleep! How totally screwed up is it that in the middle of the day when i am not even slightly tired, well fed and not thirsty... exploring along a path and all i think about is where the hell is the closest bed because i so so HAVE to sleep as thats how i save!!! yeah like totally immersive! NOT!

i just travelled along a route for about 20 minutes game play, carefully made my way across from the south Marina settlement almost all the way to Corvega plant then bam!. get hit by some raiders and guess what i die ... Now i am way way way back at the Marina. :( all because i didnt go and sleep.

i understand the game is supposed to be a challenge. They made is so we are now hungry, tired and thirsty. we can get sick from chems or dirty water. enemies are tougher and ya have to be a lot more careful. But why oh why did they then have to totally screw that all up with some dumbass save block?

Only mod i can find so far is a holotape that you have to find and only has a one-time save use. i then have to hunt for other holotapes.

As much as that removes saving on a bed, it now makes me have to hunt for a holotape.

Saving should NOT be something in-world that i have to interact with at all! Saving should be a mechanic committed out of my players existence, ie in the main menu.

I love getting sick with the survival mode. i love getting hungry, thirst and tired. i want to seek a bed to rest and get a good night sleep when i am fatigued. Thats what 'Sophie' my player would do. She has no issue worrying about how much her backpack will hold and if she should leave one of her favourite weapons because its too heavy. To find my vision blurring because i am exhausted or sick is fine. To be gunned down by mutants or gunners because they are out of her league is fine. That's a harsh wilderness she find a exciting challenge.

But she doesn't want to have to worry herself about if she can find a bed every hour of game-play or search every little container for that elusive holotape that will help her SAVE her game. she doesn't even know what 'saving' is! she lost her son and hides from mutants and Synths. She doesn't worry about a save bed or save holotape or a pair of 'saving' boots!
