Purr4me
try to just install all the mods and leave them as is, sort them and do not modify them and see just how long you can play the game normally.there is an update for GFWL " Games For windows Live", you know it's correct because it says marketplace. NMM hates fallout 3. and missing assets from bad installs will cause all kinds of discontent. tried every single version to date and never set's up Fo3 correctly. install all your mod manually. M48A5
Uninstall all of the unused plugins. The data will be loaded if the file is in "Data" files. Disable and uninstall MMM-Natural Selection and MMM-Zones Respawn. They are part of FWE. I am surprised the game will start with FCOMaster.esm where it is. All .esm files must load before .esp files. One of the most common mistakes when editing the Fallout 3 .ini is editing the wrong one. You do not edit the Fallout_default.ini in the Fallout3 folder, but the one in the Documents/MyGames/Fallout3 folder.

millerkiller357
m48a5- your fix helped a good bit with the plugins and now I can get a good thirty to 45 minutes of gameplay most times and have even gotten an hour before it crashes

So Fallout Mod Manager is recommended for 3? This depends mostly on the type of game you wish to run ,the old way is stuff it all into a data folder and overwrite data ,making fora good mess.the new way is to isolate the data keeping the data folder clean VIA mod organizer and then use Fomm from with in MO as a tool. OR the old way using Fomm directly. nmm has issues with Fallout 3, don't know why, don't care. I just know what works and what doesn't so it is up to you to test and choose. The less overwrites made from all the mods the better you control all your data and can rearrange things with Mo as a starting point. Fallout history is notorious for crashing . Even unmodded.
