ironaxeTX
As the title says when you login to Bethesda.net in fallout 4 and enable your mods, you can no longer get Achievements which is pretty f*#@ed up, I would love to hear ya'lls opinion on this. iXenite
I dislike it too. Many blame consoles, but I don't buy it. This is a single player game. There are zero online competitive aspects to it, yet achievements are disabled when mods are used. This game has shown time and time again that Bethesda just want as much control over "their vision" of Fallout 4 as possible, even if it means inconveniencing people. jjb54
Apparently - "Achievements" and such on consoles can be used like "bitcoin" - where they can buy - purchase stuff. Thus why they put the [M] Saved, to let console players know there is NO achievements and such earned. I had 1 friend confirm this with other console games.... Just kind of stupid - that they did not go, "O f...k, wait. What if the mods are just textures and such? And oh, hell, yes, this would not apply to PC gamers. Maybe we should patch it?" Answer: "What are you thinking? We will just let the PC Mod Community do our job for us for FREE." And the PC MOD COMMUNITY did indeed come through for us! :) Bethesda has no shame. iXenite
That must be an Xbox thing about buying stuff, because on PlayStation there is no use for trophies other than general pats on the back. You can even hide your trophies on PS4 so no one can look at them up if you want.
zanity
What kind of FOOL cares about 'achievements' (and by 'achievements' I mean the 'trophies' that are listed and displayed online to others). Beth, of course, has no business disabling COMPLETION achievements noted ONLY on your own personal PC. If you really feel proud displying to the world the fact you've killed x number of raiders in a computer game, you really want to have a serious look at your life. No PC gamer should welcome the psychological damaging and controlling ideas from the worst corners of console gaming. Achievement BOASTING (as aside from visible to the player only completion achievements) is as welcome as linear corridor cover based shooter games on the PC.
