Marcus Wolfe
Yeah this is the post for weird thoughts and or dreams you have had. Try to keep it appropriate. For example, this is a thought I've had in my head for a while now.... Clock#1 is a clock that does not move it's hands is right and does it's function correctly twice a day.Clock#2 is a clock that moves it's hands but is off by 5 minutes never does it's function correctly. So why do we say that Clock#1 is broken? Peregrine
False dilemma: both clocks are broken. As for why we say #1 is broken, this is obvious once you think about useful information. Clock #1 never provides useful information. Even when it is one of the two times a day when the clock is correct, you have no way of knowing it actually is that time unless you have another clock, making clock #1 redundant at best. Clock #2 will always give you a reasonable idea of what time it is. For most purposes, knowing the time within 5 minutes is good enough. Not only that, but once you know the error rule, you can simply add or subtract 5 minutes (you didn't specify which direction it was off in) and get the exact answer. So we have one clock that is never useful, and one that is always useful (though to varying degrees). I wonder why we might call only one of them broken... Marcus Wolfe
Yeah, isn't it weird? Anyways..........I remember having a dream when I was in my dinosaur phase. All the dinosaurs were living happily together because all the predators were scratching at a cliff for some reason. Then they fell off the cliff and when they landed they turned instantly into skeletons and their names came up like in some kind of HUD. There was also this queen who looked like an ant with a peacock's tail. She was ....ed off because her underlings couldn't build something she wanted. JamesTruant
I have a strange dream that keeps coming back, some nights it gets further than other nights. I wake up in a massive library, but none of the books have any words in. then I open this huge book, and a dog runs out. no idea how it got that flat, but it did. then on closer inspection of this large book, it appears to be written in blood, but while the writing is obviously english, I have as much difficulty reading it as I would have reading chinese. then my friends appear, and seem to have no difficulty reading it, and all claim to have realised something amazing, whilst im stuck trying to decipher my native language.Strange. Thats as far as its got.

Marcus Wolfe
I had a dream last night. Actually, I think I somehow dreamed the plot of Jurassic Park 4. It involved one dinosaur getting immune to a sedating drug by exposure to it. This dinosaur also had wings and feathers so it could fly, and there was some kind of gathering of humans on the island........it was strange. They eventually took the thing out with a t-rex sized dose. Then it started talking. Then something totally different happened, but I forgot all about it. You know, people dream every night, but they don't always remember it.
Kirfew
I while ago I thought, if some was allergic to peanut butter then could you kill them by injecting them with it? Obviously it'd have to be diluted enough.I can just see Grissom from CSI:Grissom: Here is the penetration mark and around that area we found large traces of peanut butter. FritzDerochebrune
Well, I don't know if you count this under strange thoughts, but still... Ever since my 12th birthday I've been interested in World War 2. And especially in the German side, army etc. At some point people began calling me names for my knowledge. Anyway, a year or two ago, I made a 'personal sign' for forums etc. This was, as you can see on the left, the Arrow Cross. I used it without trouble, but recently I discovered the Arrow Cross was the symbol for the Hungarian Fascist Party during WW2, wich collaborated with the Germans. Coincidence? I don't know... I do hope so... cya Fritz
