maboru
It looks like your saves are corrupted, try deleting them (or moving them elsewhere) so you have nothing in the save folder and try to start a new game. You may also want to check your settings on the load screen and return them to default. (You didn't by any chance install a new video card since your last successful session did you?) jlamar92
it does the same thing when i start a new game
maboru
The only other advice I have then is to make sure all your drivers are current, and if they are then uninstall the game and go back to Steam and reinstall it. Wait a minute, have you tried going to Steam and verifying your cache?
jlamar92
it says one file did not verify and it downloaded something and then i tryied to play it and it still crashes then i re-verified it and it says one file did not verify and it redownlads a file and does the same thing agin
maboru
Yeah, I get that 1 file thing too (a lot of people do) but it doesn't seem to affect anything in my game. I'm afraid it's looking like a clean slate and reinstall for you. I know what a pain that is but unless someone can come with something else to try you may be stuck with that option. Thasic
I have to agree, completely uninstall everything, reinstall from scratch and see if that helps. That is a last ditch effort but it often does the trick.
GothikaGeist
Well you can also verify your files through steam: Go to your games, right-click, and hit verify/validate.
