to those familiar with the francesco mod

Hi all, when I first install the francesco mod I got the message telling me that it cannot detect the Shivering Isle expansion, but I do have it. I purchases game of the year deluxe edition (steam) which has all the DLCs. So I went ahead and install the SI(shivering Isle) version anyway.

I started a new game and everything seems fine. But how do I know that the mod is actually working? I enter the console and type in "startquest Franmenu" and a menu for the mod did pop up. However, is there any other way to tell if the mod is working 100%?

Thanks

I am a fransesco user, but I'm afraid that I have no way of knowing. The steam version would likely install the game into a different folder then the non-steam version would, so frans is probably looking for the shivering isles data in a folder that doesn't exist. I haven't checked if the mod is compatible with steam, but this would most likely be the source of the problem. If you can't find any information on the mod page, you could try contacting frans (although the chance or being replied to would be slim) or other capable modders who may have solved this for themselves, but I not know whom.

Thanks for the reply. Would you be able to tell me how this mod works. Does it put a level cap on all the enemies, or do they still level up with you but more like in Fallout 3?

From the description of the mod, it seems that you will be able to encounter enemies of both high and low levels in an area. But do these enemies also level with you?

For example, a dungeon with enemies a couple levels higher than you and some much weaker than you are, as you level up, do these enemies also level with you (so you can still fight enemies stronger and weaker than you) or are their levels capped?

Thanks
