Marxist ßastard
Fine -- I'll also let go of the idea, but could you post what, exactly, you think these forums should stand for?
Drake Crowind
This is my opinion and I don't mean to offend anyone but... the moderators are all a bit on the control freak side if you catch my drift. Although I have seen some really fu... I mean messed up moderators. You guys are a little tight around the waste when it comes to rules but, hey! It's not my site. Remember: Words are an experssion of one's feelings. P.S. I think it would be better if you guys added a jokes and in-game snapshot forum.
Malchik
I feel we have had enough Moderator bashing for a while, Drake (see other threads). We apply the rules, nothing more. If we didn't agree with the rules we wouldn't have been asked to moderate (or would have said no) but we didn't design them. If occasionally we err on the side of caution better than letting chaos arrive IMO. But to answer your later points there is a thread somewhere for in-game character shots. If you want to start one for other in-game screen shots, assuming one does not exist, please feel free to start one in the off-topics section. The posting of jokes is a more problematical idea. There are funny jokes that are not offensive but a lot are bound to offend someone (anti some race or nation or religion etc.). So I'm reluctant to agree to that thread. I don't know how the other moderators feel though.

They say they are only enforcing the rules. There's a subtle way to do it, and there's their way to do it. If there's so much mod bashing going around, you should get a clue guys. I belong to quite a few forums and mod bashing is quite inexistant. Just my 2 cents. :D
Xionith
DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE UGLY MODERATORS, THE ADMIN ARE MUCH NICER" They even admit it.... No I dont even think their very strict. :D
Peregrine
Seriously Somedude, put down the "ban me now sign". The whole point of your argument is that you don't want to have to follow the rules you agreed to. So unless you want to get a strike or two, drop the subject. You're already on the "suspect members" list for doing this, so this is your last warning. I quote from Dark0ne:Just tell them that those are the rules, the rules aren't going to change for them, and if they don't agree with them they can leave. Discussion on strict mods is over in this thread. One more word about it and its a strike. Understood? I'm leaving this open in case anyone has something to suggest other than less strict mods, but that discussion is over.

Sure...give me a strike, but I think you just proved their point in grand fashion.
Peregrine
You see the 5 million threads on "the mods are too strict" recently? It's been discussed to death, and well past that point. And Dark0ne himself has said the discussion is over. Just drop it.
Akrid
I think I'll mention somthing before somone gets a strike or two. This forum is cool, compared to others I've been in and out of. I notice here there is a lot of heavy contributers. If you have a problem with morrowind, computer not working right, or just want to debate somthing this is the best place I find. I think just about every moderator I have been warned by has helped me with a problem even more. If you follow the simple rules this site really dosn't seem that strict. Nobody likes being told what they can't do or being corrected but it's nessesary to keep this site from becoming a s*!t house. The fact is Morrowind source can be a useful tool, but if a bathroom wall is all you want you'll be disapointed. One thing this site could do to be better is find a way to get past the firewall that won't let me chat. To the Moderators; maybe the "problems with moderaters" threads could all be combined or somthing, I don't think there is a problem but these members arn't really getting mad so much as disrespectful, and I can understand how they might feel, but as long as they don't flame shouldn't they be allowed to whine? I guess this isn't a democracy, I'm just thinking American. Well I just wanted to put my cents in.
