AurianaValoria1
I'm hoping someone can help me out with a recent problem. My computer just downloaded and installed an update for my ATI HD Radeon 5700 graphics card. Unfortunately, it reset all of my graphic options. Normally, I could just go into the Catalyst Control Center and re-enable anti-aliasing. Now, the option isn't there. I'm getting this "Information Center" window with two tabs: Software and hardware. All they do is tell me what I have installed. There's a "graphics" dropdown menu at the top that has "Information Center," "Desktops and Displays," "Desktop Properties," and "XGP Technology." There's no options for AA anywhere. Can someone please help me figure out what this update did with my graphics options?
Iv000
There should be a 3D option in the dropdown menu. Also, have you deleted/uninstalled the previous drivers? That could cause problems too.Firstly manually download the drivers for your card here:http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspxDon't install them yet. Go to your control center > Add/remove programs > Select "ATI Catalyst Install Manager" click on change, and click "Express uninstall ALL ATI software"When it's finished restart your PC and install the drivers you installed previously.Should work, as I did that multiple times, and I'm heaving the newest drivers right now. AurianaValoria1
Alright. I have Windows 7 64-bit....So I download the one that says "catalyst software suite"? The one that was posted on 6/15/11? Also, does it matter that I have Intel i7 and not AMD? (sorry, I'm kind of a newb when it comes to tech) Oh, and I have not deleted or unistalled any previous drivers.

Do as I said in my previous post and it should work fine.Good luck. Also, don't worry if you do something wrong, you can't destroy the card with drivers. Edited July 13, 2011 by Iv000
