GuyInDogSuit
So I finally got a save to load on the latest updated with mods enabled (except the UI ones, which are known to crash the game), and that's IF Fallout 4 doesn't disable all my plugins every time it loads. I have to keep going into NMM and re-enable my plugins. I've even set plugins.txt to read-only and somehow they STILL get disabled. Here's the problem. I've updated all my mods today, and enabled them, and loaded my game. The funny thing is, I have to load an old save FIRST, then the recent one or it crashes. And textures are missing, I have no hair, no body. Just a head and hands. Same with Piper.
justininho
I had this problem and i can only help you with the save game problem. whether i continued, loaded a save or started a new game, fallout would crash to desktop. >>>>> find your fallout 4 .ini files in your documents folder and delete them. my saves loaded, my new games started. textures still missing and settlers need to be reassigned or they just wander about. even then i can only assign guards back to their posts: merchants and scavs just wander about and when i reassign them they stand next to their station but neither they or their station are assigned to each other. justininho
scratch the part about settlers. guards walk to their positions then walk back. there is no food on the crops despite farming animation taking place.
GuyInDogSuit
I found out that NMM doesn't properly install some stuff like textures, mods, scripts, etc, when your game is on a separate drive.
Royhr
There is a new update now available for NMM that addresses the issue with disabling pluggins whenever a loadorder is changed. Seems to work ok now.
