  1. Ok thanks. I sort of spaced out and for whatever reason didn't even think to actually look at the file tab. I see now that there is a new update patch "beta 203" that has been added. Guess it's the first weekly update.
  2. Ok a quick question. When you pull the mod up on Nexus is says that you must install the main mod as well the Beta 201 Patch. However there is no place anywhere on the page to download the patch. I did read online somewhere that the latest FONV New California Mod actually has rolled the patches into the main mod thus not requiring to patch to be installed any longer. Is this true?

    TTW Site?

Ok thanks Roy for responding with an update. Glad it isn't anything long term or worse.

    TTW Site?

Curious if anybody knows what might be up with the Tale of Two Wasteland website? Keep getting "The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later." Hoping that it's just a temporary thing and not something major.
  5. Automatron was ok. Just not worth the price. But I also bought the season pass when it first was offered so the cost was minimal for me. The only other ones worth the bother is Far Harbor and Nuka World. The other DLCs were crap especially if you don't care about settlement building. Also not worth it for what you have to pay for them. But as already mentioned if you just wait a while you will probably be able to get then dirt cheap once they get offered for discount on Steam.
  6. Well it seems that at least one of the premium servers (Washington) is down for maintenance. I switched to the Dallas server and was able to download ok. But again I'm a premium user so not sure if non-premium users are having issues with the non-premium server downloads.
  7. And what DLC would that be? I thought that Nuka World was the final official DLC to be released? Did I miss something? Also mod authors are waiting for F4SE to get additional functions like that were available for FONV and Skyrim. Until then there are thing they just can't do right now.
  8. Well hopefully they are working on releasing more than just a patched F4SE to accommodate the latest game update. The last game update looks like it was only to fix something with nuka-world and not that big of an update so you would think F4SE could have been updated pretty easily. Or then again maybe not. Anyway hopefully they are working to release the next F4SE version with a number of features and functionality that mod authors have been waiting on. If so then it will be worth the wait.
  9. Yes, my friend they did. Instead of waking up in the Outpatient Recovery Room ... I woke up in ICU. So much for being " proactive ". But this too, shall soon pass. Thanks again, Stargzer .... Well at least you woke up. I had a very close friend of mine a few years ago that didn't.... He went in for what was considered some simple foot surgery and never came out of it. Anyway glad to see that you seem better and out of the hospital.
  10. Ok here's a question? Anybody have any ideas as to who actually created this DLC? Since when does nVidia create mods? Wonder if the requirement to actually run the mod will require an nVidia GPU? Any non nVidia card will cause CTDs... btw before anybody gets their panties all up in a knot I was joking...
  11. Somebody posted in another thread that if you are using def_ui you definitely need the patch the mod author has made available.
  12. Yes good chunks of the wasteland was pretty empty but the one thing that I think really made FO3 interesting and a lot of fun was the tunnel systems. Wish FO4 had something remotely equal to that. The subways stations are ok but could have been so much better and extensive. They should have been more connected. How could all of the train tunnels be collapsed but the stations themselves still be intact? Especially with so much of the above ground area still standing. A good amount of DC was destroyed but the a lot of the tunnels were still functional....
  13. Hey that gives me a mod idea. How about digging down until we get to China and nuke those commie bastards?
  14. All I can say is that I'm pretty happy that I bought the season pass when it first was offered. Makes it not so disappointing when it comes to the DLCs that have been offered. If I didn't buy the season pass then I would have only considered buying Automatron and Far Harbor with Nuka World as being very questionable. The others were crap as far as I'm concerned since I can't stand settlement building. With all of this said I still like the game a lot and plan on playing for quite a while. And if I do get bored or tires of it I'll return to playing Tale of Two Wastelands. I tried to get into Skyrim but find that game a complete and utter bore.
  15. Ok fine... It is very unlikely something like this will be done. Ok feel better?
  16. Geez... Well of course with enough time and resources pretty much anything can be done. As far as saying they do it before? Well they probably thought it was good idea at the time. A good challenge maybe. But since it proved to not be such the great idea and way too difficult to make it something worthwhile why would anybody want to try again? But if you want to keep on believing that it'll get done then good for you. Keep on believing if that's your thing.
  17. Well I've been using a mod called No Respawn and No Reset http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/11872/? Most areas that I have cleared seem to remain cleared of items in containers for the most part. Like you I was just looking for something that hopefully stopped containers from resetting and being populated again with items. But I'll admit that this isn't perfect but it does work for the most part for me.
  18. Why do you really think that somebody or a group of people would really spend an unbelievable amount of time doing this? There isn't enough real interest in this to entice people to want to do it even if they could. Unless you just want to push lelcat's buttons which is usually a good thing...
  19. Why even discuss this? It'll never happen. First off I doubt that there would even be enough real interest in something like this. Most FO players prefer it as a single player game. Sure maybe the idea of a co-op sounds cool to a small number of users but for what it would take to make it a reality just wouldn't be worth the effort.
  20. I thought you said that you were running with no mods? Then you said that you deactivated Tina's Cookiepocolypse. So are you running with installed mods? As a rule of thumb I never run with any mods until after I exit Vault 111. Also have you tried using a save right after the Vault 111 exit? If you don't have one there are a few available on Nexus.
  21. Well besides steam there is also Fraps if you're looking to display your fps. http://www.fraps.com/
  22. I always thought that pre-war food was so well preserved because low levels of radioactive material were incorporated into them as preservatives (thus, the rads you accumulate from eating them). =0[.]o= If you look back at some of the previous games they stated various times that allot of the pre war food was stuffed with so many preservatives they were expected to last for hundreds of years anyway. Ever wonder then where the twinkies are?
  23. Skyrim had the exact same problem. True but the difference is that many of those who are complaining most likely are those who played Skyrim after it was mostly already updated and patched and with many mods available that made the game much more playable and stable. For those people this is a new and frustrating experience. But still it gets tiresome listening to the constant complaining.
  24. I so agree. Wow.... So lets not have any game updates just so we all will not be inconvenienced for a day or two. That sounds like a plan... But if we all can agree to that then lets not hear any complaining about bugs in the game and how Beth should fix things.
  25. Well they are going to keep patching the game until at least Nuka-Cola World come out and is stable for the most part. And even then you will probably see occasional updates to fix stuff. So you all just have to put with it. Or stop using F4SE for now. And why does Beth have to give the F4SE team a headsup about any updates being released? Just so you all won't be inconvenienced for a day or two? Please..... And yes I use F4SE and I currently can't play either but I can live with waiting a bit. Man it really does get tiring reading all of the complaining whenever an update is released. Yet people also continue to complain about bugs in the game that they keep saying they wish that Beth would fix. :wallbash: If you don't want to put up with what's going on then go back and play Skyrim or something...
