Missing Strings Localization Files (DLC)

For whatever reason, my FO4 is missing the strings localization files for both the Automatron DLC & the Wasteland Workshop DLC. Wrye Flash is how I discovered this issue & I confirmed said files to be missing when I navigated to my Fallout 4/Data/strings directory. I bought Fallout 4 & all DLC (Season Pass) legally through Steam when the game was first released. Verifying the game cache through Steam did not fix this issue. Please help.

How did you verify it? I want to check if that is what is happening with my copy as well.

I used Wrye Flash (www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/3699), which alerted me to the missing Strings files. I then used the following utility to extract the Strings files from the main .BA2 files of the DLCs (DLC1Robot - Main.BA2 & DLCworkshop01 - Main.BA2):

www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/78

I've yet to verify if this is what's causing my game to CTD on fast travel in-game. The game loads up just fine for me when I select Continue from the main menu but my issue lies with a CTD on fast travel. Everything was working fine until Bethesda screwed everything up with the 1.5 update. Typical.

Can you post a screen shot of what your STRINGS folder is supposed to have in it? I'm currently not using Nexus, because I'm just trying to get my FO 4 game to run at all, and I don't want to toss mods in until I can at least get the game to start.

For whatever reason, my Print Screen key does not work. However, if you get the utility I linked to above & use it to open the two .BA2 files I mentioned that are found in your Data folder, you can use said utility to extract the missing Strings files. I was able to fix the issue with the linked utility mentioned above.

Thank you for telling me about this tool
