Mythic Dawn Transformation Spell

Hello all. I am new to these forums, and am a dedicated Oblivion player, and I couldn't find a mod that turns you into a Mythic Dawn Agent!

 

I am requesting a mod that when the spell is cast ingame, you get the Mythic Dawn Armor, and a Daedric weapon. (The Mythic Dawn armor that the Mythic Dawn Cult people wear when they cast that spell that gives them that weird armor.)

 

And it also makes it so you MUST BE WEARING Mythic Dawn Robes. If not, the spell cannot work.

 

ALSO: One more request for this mod, I hope this is possible. When you have the spell cast, Mythic Dawn Agents will NOT attack you unless you attack them first. They will speak like regular citizens and have a Rumor Option, Persuade option, and another option if you feel like adding one. The armor spell will last 60 MINUTES which is 1 hour. If you are standing in front of a Mythic Dawn Agent when the spell wears off, you will be attacked.

 

I hope this is possible to make. I want to see it in action! And if you could, when it's done make a youtube video of it? Thank you for reading!

In my past work, I have run up against problems when dealing with the Mythic Dawn Armor. It appears that once the spell is cast, it can never be undone. This is why you see the sleeper agent people in various towns walking around in their armor when there is no battle going on. So for example, if Else God-Hater fights against some enemy placed in town by a mod, then she will be wearing her armor every time you see her for the whole rest of the game.

 

So if this technical challenge cannot be overcome, there is no sense in thinking about which methods to use to do other parts of the mod.

It's just an armor, so you can instead make your own spell that goes around the summoned armor spell and instead using scripting for the effect.

I got thinking about the problem and how illogical it was that the Mythic Dawn summoned armor spell worked the way it does on my computer. I did some more testing, and it does not seem to be broken on that particular savegame I was using to play-test with. I was successfully able to construct a customized spell that only lasted for ten seconds and then went away. I was amazed to see it actually working. Perhaps I am basing my opinions on experience with corrupted savegames from when Oblivion was glitching out. Maybe the problem I described is rare, or unique to my computer.

 

I looked at TES Nexus, and there are a whole bunch of mods with Mythic Dawn armor. You might want to look them over and see if you like any of them. You would want to be sure to get one that has icons for the bound armor.
