jtgoalie Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I agree with the re-texturing of races and such, as i've tried doing it myself and it makes me incredibly lost, because id love to learn how to do all these modding techniques but i know nothing of computers and have a basic understanding of the CS but ill definitely be reading your tutorials, and look forward to one about re-texturing of the races. Even though it is just a second opinion, hope it helps!
Unlimitedrevolver Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I'd like to see an OBSE tutorial telling what you need to get started and the starting tutorials to get you familiar with it's environment. Also possibly a tutorial on how to make textures and meshes, and an explanation on why textures look like they're in puzzle pieces and how to make first person meshes.

If you want to learn how to make models with Blender, the 1st thing you do is to get familiar with Blender and go over the basics. Blender Noob to Pro Then you can start going through Blender-specific tutorials on how to accomplish certain goals. There is a ton of things on how to create / modify textures as well. You'll need to pick your poison on what tool you will be using such as Photoshop (expensive!), GIMP (Free), Paint.NET( Free) and then learn the basics of your image editor. THEN you can start looking at Texturing tutorials. You'll also need to know how to put it all together for the game you are modding. For example, here is an overview of Modding for Oblivion that covers general things you can mod and gives more detail in the area you are interested in and finally some specific tutorials in those areas.
bayharman Posted July 25, 2011 Author Posted July 25, 2011 I shall make the tutorial, but I am not able to create meshes, sorry :/
