Shidentora
1. Does the frequent change of load order have any influence on the game, as for its stability, speed, etc?2. How often is it recommendable to change the load order?
davidmount
Only thing I can think of is you would have to updated your patch if you changed your load order often or by a lot - have seen similar warnings in other threads and in my own bashed patches. By changing load orders you can change the sequence master files load, which I think can cause instability in an already unstable game.

Hey, wait, my main menu always shows 1.7.0.3. By changing the load order, I mean adding new mods and keeping them if you like them. There's always something new and tempting out there. BlackRampage
Hello Shidentora, Lets see: Your 1.7 patch is just fine. It is the latest patch after all. Anyway, depending on how many mods you already have and what you want to add, it's usually not a very big deal to add a new mod unless it makes some radical changes to your game. Just make sure your current load order has been sorted well with little to no conflicts.

Hail, BlackRampage.ThanksI read here on the Nexus that changing the load order too often may cause problems (I can't remember what kind of problems, however - crashes?)Well, i base my mods choice on their FWE compatibility. I mostly add weapons (the only thing I don't have is a howitzer, I guess) and the FWE people clearly said that weapon, follower, weather and places mods do not conflict with FWE. Yea, I take care about my load order. It's quite easy - I just adjust the new mods to my FWE load order. Piece of cake. And after that? Turn the FO3 on and... "IT'S TIME TO KICK ASS AND CHEW BUBBLE GUM..."

Don't rely blindly on it though. Even though it's always spoken of very highly, even BOSS is fallible. (do I even need to mention wrong placement of the highly popular Streetlights mod, for example?) PS: Why do you always say hail? Are you a member of the Brotherhood of steel? Edit: Spelling Edited July 18, 2011 by BlackRampage

Only problem I have is those #$&%-ing lags.As for my "Hail," in my case it is meant as a sign of reassuring and friendship. The BoS? Yea, they're my gang. I like it very much to fight together with them shoulder to... erm, power armor to power armor. If I ever make my machine to work properly again, I'll see about using the Sharing and Caring Companions to get some of the guys go with me to Old Olney and have a party. We're gonna get the motherfrackers, hehheh:) Edited July 22, 2011 by Shidentora
