Crashing on Exit

Hi there,

 

I'm having a strange crash happening when I go to exit oblivion. The game starts to shut itself down and then I get a message from windows informing me that the game has stopped working and do I want windows to close the program or search online for a solution.

 

I'm running the game on Windows Vista Ultimate with all the latest patches, 2 gig's of Ram, amd 3200+ x64 cpu, ati radeon x800 video card, and onboard sound.

 

Vanilla Oblivion with Knight's of the Nine dvd installed ran fine on this set-up, then I decided to try some mod's. so I patched it up to ver 1.2, added shivering Isles, and all the others on the list below.

The game has crashed once or twice during gameplay, but every time I exit I get that strange message. Any help would be great.

I think you will find the problem lies with OOO. If I play using the mod it always crashes on exit. When I play without it, it never does. However it doesn't screw anything, as the saves remain as you want them and reload correctly.
