Lookup Failure Automatron enemies

So every now and then when I encounter roaming robotic enemies I get a pop on the left side of the screen saying LOOKUP FAILED and whenever said enemies speak the subtitles say LOOKUP FAILED.

Not sure what the problem is :/

I've had this issue when mods with no support for automatron update the strings files located in ..\Fallout 4\Data\Strings. For the most part, the ones that have done this were inventory sort mods or hud mods, if that helps.

backup/ delete your strings folder and your .inis and then verify cache, worked for me.

deleting the strings and revalidating via steam did the trick.

Now robots actually have dialogue in their subtitles and the robot repair kit has it's explanation pop up when I first loot it :D

also google "Lookup failed!" have million answers about missing/outdated strings files
