Jacky161
My Fallout 3 has been crashing about every 30 minutes. I have tried everything such as ini tweaks, removing mods, and more. I would just be walking around the wasteland and then have it crash to desktop. I know, probably a lot of people already made threads about this but all of the fixes I have tried don't fix the problem. I'm using Mod Organizer to install and run all my mods. Here is what my mod organizer looks like.http://s32.postimg.org/kqlnvaemd/Capture.png I'm using a merged version of RH_Ironsights and Fellout by Paradox Ignition just so you know. I have cleaned all my mods with FO3Edit. Edit: I've determined that one of 10 mods is the culprit of the crashing after I disabled many non essential mods like Fellout. The mods that could be causing the crashes are:1. The Fallout 3 Updated Unofficial Patch2. Fallout Stutter Remover3. Onetweak (which is fake fullscreen)4. CASM5. GNR Enchanced6. Conelrad7. Existence 2.08. DCInteriors9. Darnified UI10. User Interface Organizer I'm going to try disabling more mods and see which is crashing the game. EternalDarknessReigns
I feel you doc, ive had the same issue for a long time, basically its not JUST the mods, but the game itself, thats why CASM is so damn essential, FO3 and FNV all have crash prone, buggy engines and you can honestly tweak around as much as you can but sadly you'll come out empty handed. Perhaps if its really troubling you, refrain from modding, see how the game goes on its own, then easy in one mod at a time.
M48A5
I don't use Mod Organizer, but I do know that Fallout Stutter Remover is not a mod. It is a FOSE plugin and requires a manual installation. You also do not indicate that you have FOSE installed. It is a requirement of FSR.

It is a requirement of FSR.If fallout stutter remover requires a manual install, then why is it possible to download it with manager? I do have FOSE installed. I have tried 1.2b and 1.3b. They both crash. Maybe it still crashes with no mods. I don't know. I'm going to try with no mods and see if it still crashes.
M48A5
Fallout Stutter Remover was uploaded before Nexus Mod Manager was available. When NMM became available, The Nexus added the "DOWNLOAD WITH MANAGER" button to all the downloadable files on the Nexus. That does not mean that "DOWNLOAD WITH MANAGER" works with all the uploaded mods. It is up to the mod user to determine, by reading the mod description page, the proper installation method. Jacky161
I have decided to just use tale of two wastelands and fallout new vegas to play Fallout 3. It is much more stable than regular fallout 3.
