Perk screen changed to list

(Apologies if this been previously discussed; I searched but didn't find anything similar (if something does exist, please point me toward it)).

 

I would be grateful for for a mod that alters the display of the perk screen. Maybe I'm the only one, but I can't stand the vanilla animated perk screen. The animations, sounds, and general lack of intuitive navigability drive me nuts. For me, it has sucked the fun out of leveling up (this is just my opinion; to each their own). So, would it be possible to mod the perk screen to display S.P.E.C.I.A.L.s and perks as a simple text list with numbers instead of stars? (e.g.: something like an old pen-and-paper D&D skill sheet, or, for an in-game example, the "Registration Form" from the Vault-Tec rep at the beginning of the game). To be clear, I'm not asking for any gameplay or mechanics changes to perks themselves, just how they are displayed.

 

I have zero modding skill and have no idea if this request is even possible, but I figured it can't hurt to ask!

I would just prefer somebody bring back the F3/FNV style Perk system but having a List is the first step for this Idea. I hate the stupid grid system.

Not to mention that it's actually prohibiting the addition of new perks (gained from leveling up).

 

Depending on a Perk's requirements, it is automatically placed in the appropriate spot on the chart, so if there's already a perk in that spot, the system just breaks.
