LordOfDragons01 Posted May 9, 2016 Share Posted May 9, 2016 Hey there, so, I'm trying to figure out what I need to edit in my INI's to make lights show up from longer distances. Example : Standing in Sanctuary Hills, I cannot see the light on top of Red Rocket till I go halfway over the bridge. Anyone know what I need to tweak to do this? settings I have tried:fSpecularLODMaxStartFadefLightLODMaxStartFadefMeshLODLevel1FadeDistfMeshLODLevel2FadeDist None of these seem to have any effect on the light's draw distance :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mrspongeworthy Posted January 25, 2017 Share Posted January 25, 2017 The only thing I've found so far that does this in FO4 is the ugrids setting unfortunately. I can run mine at 7 without issue (helps with exactly the scene you describe), but YMMV. I know in Skyrim, FNV etc. there were a number of LOD mods and tweaks that worked wonders for long-range LODs of all kinds (buildings, light sources, etc.) with almost zero performance hit, but I've found nothing similar for FO4.
