Unlimitedrevolver Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 (edited) The reason you don't fall through the ground in games is because the player and ground have collision settings, correct?If so why hasn't this been done with hair, armor, weapons, etc.?You know, to avoid things going through your armor.Is it a problem with the engine? :confused: Not sure if this is the correct posting section for this. MShoap13 Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Giving every little mesh it's own collision mesh could result in some very strange stretching and tearing in-game. I wouldn't recommend trying. Minor clipping is far less noticeable than your hair suddenly stretching one point of the mesh well off of your screen and back during your walk animation because it grazes your armor's shoulder for a split second.
