Ben30NYC
Hello guys, I can't seem to accomplish a stable setting. The game keeps crashing at various points.Let me guide you through the steps I took installing the mods and maybe you can giveme a few pointers. 1. Installed SKYRIM from Steam, Nexus MM. Used the latest LOOT + TES5Edit to clean mods.I went with "RealVision ENB - FULL VERSION" so I meticulously followed the instructions for installation from this pageexcept instead "Verdant Grass" I am using "Unbelievable Grass Two". Please note I used 2K textures and Parallax where possible. The heavy "WARZONES - Civil Unrest 2015" also uses 2K NPC option. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73661/? I looked at different 4GB Memory patch options including SSME, Prepatch Killer, Safety Loadand decided to go with the "Skyrim Project Optimization" option plus "Sheson's SKSE Memory Patch" by creating my own SKSE.ini with these settings: [General]EnableDiagnostics=1ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory]defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=1024scrapHeapSizeMB=384 3. Then I tweaked my enblocal.ini and stress tested it with "Memory Blocks Log".Sometimes I speedrun through the terrain and the game never crashes (few minor fps drops from 60 to 40 during heavy Civil War, Dragon Attacks) This is my enblocal.ini setting: [PROXY]EnableProxyLibrary=falseInitProxyFunctions=trueProxyLibrary=d3d9_smaa.dll [GLOBAL]UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=falseUseDefferedRendering=trueIgnoreCreationKit=true [PERFORMANCE]SpeedHack=trueEnableOcclusionCulling=true [MULTIHEAD]ForceVideoAdapterIndex=falseVideoAdapterIndex=0 [MEMORY]ExpandSystemMemoryX64=trueReduceSystemMemoryUsage=trueDisableDriverMemoryManager=falseDisablePreloadToVRAM=falseEnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=falseReservedMemorySizeMb=128VideoMemorySizeMb=6144EnableCompression=falseAutodetectVideoMemorySize=false [THREADS]DataSyncMode=1PriorityMode=0EnableUnsafeFixes=false [WINDOW]ForceBorderless=falseForceBorderlessFullscreen=true [ENGINE]ForceAnisotropicFiltering=trueMaxAnisotropy=16ForceLodBias=falseLodBias=0.0AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=falseEnableVSync=trueVSyncSkipNumFrames=0 [LIMITER]WaitBusyRenderer=falseEnableFPSLimit=falseFPSLimit=60.0 [iNPUT]//shiftKeyCombination=16//f12KeyUseEffect=123//homeKeyFPSLimit=36//num / 106KeyShowFPS=106//print screenKeyScreenshot=44//enterKeyEditor=13//f4KeyFreeVRAM=115KeyBruteForce=66 [ADAPTIVEQUALITY]Enable=falseQuality=1DesiredFPS=30.0 [ANTIALIASING]EnableEdgeAA=trueEnableTemporalAA=falseEnableSubPixelAA=falseEnableTransparencyAA=false [FIX]FixGameBugs=trueFixParallaxBugs=trueFixParallaxTerrain=trueFixAliasedTextures=trueIgnoreInventory=trueFixTintGamma=falseRemoveBlur=falseFixSubSurfaceScattering=trueFixSkyReflection=trueFixCursorVisibility=trueFixLag=false [LONGEXPOSURE]EnableLongExposureMode=falseTime=1.0BlendMax=0.0[THREADS]DataSyncMode=0PriorityMode=0EnableUnsafeFixes=false My last memory blocks log before the game crashed to windows looks like this: logging of blocks enabledlogging max values onlyTimer disabledBlock1 Block2768MB 384MB85 885 885 985 1085 1185 1285 1385 1485 1585 1685 1785 1885 1985 2085 2185 2285 2385 2485 2585 2685 2785 2885 2985 3085 3185 3285 3385 3485 3585 3685 3785 3885 3985 4085 4185 4285 4385 4485 4585 4685 4785 4885 4985 5085 5185 5285 5385 5485 5585 5685 5785 5885 5985 6085 6185 6285 6385 6485 6585 6685 6785 6885 6985 7085 7185 7285 7385 7485 7585 7685 7785 7885 7985 8085 8185 8285 8385 8485 8585 8685 8785 8885 8985 9085 9185 9285 9385 9485 9585 9685 9785 9885 9985 10085 10185 10285 10385 10485 10585 10685 10785 10885 10985 11085 11185 11285 11385 11485 11585 11685 11785 11885 11985 12085 12185 12285 12385 12485 12585 12685 12785 12885 12985 13085 13185 13285 13385 13485 13585 13685 13785 13885 13985 14085 14185 14285 14385 14485 14585 14685 14785 14885 14985 15085 15185 15285 15385 15485 15590 15590 15690 15790 15890 15990 16090 16190 16290 163107 163128 163128 164128 165128 166129 166130 166131 166132 166132 167133 167134 167135 167136 167137 167138 167139 167140 167141 167142 167143 167143 168144 168145 168146 168147 168148 168149 168150 168151 168152 168153 168154 168165 168171 168187 168188 168189 168189 169190 169191 169192 169193 169194 169195 169196 169197 169198 169199 169200 169202 169205 169206 169206 170208 170211 170211 171211 172212 172213 172214 172215 172216 172217 172218 172219 172220 172221 172222 172223 172223 173224 173225 173226 173248 173248 174248 175248 176248 177248 178248 179248 180248 181248 182248 183248 184248 185249 185251 185254 185256 185260 185262 185266 185267 185268 185271 185274 185278 185281 185282 185285 185288 185292 185295 185297 185302 185303 185304 185305 185306 185307 185310 185310 186310 187 PROBLEMS: I hear there is no work around Windows 10 limiting older games to 4GB. My absolute priority is to accomplish NO CRASHES to desktop and try to preserve solid 60fps as much as possible!!! Can someone please help me set up the system so that my Windows 10 can take full advantage of memory patch settings or whatever I need to do? Thanks. laiilaiiheii
You don't have ENBoost installed or the threads setup in the ini.Other than that, using the full version and all of the mods from realvision page is really heavy on it's own.Adding more mods on top of that might just be too much for Skyrim to handle. This might help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ulryk7IjzBo
laiilaiiheii
I'm not sure about the windows 10 problem? I never had problems with it to be honest. Sometimes changing your settings in the nvidia control panel for Skyrim itself can help as well.I think the realvision or truevsion page has some info on that. (tripple buffering, fxaa, etc) What's more is that I personally found truevision working better (and looking better) than realvision. But that's just a opinion. Thanks so much for replying guys! Now, I thought I installed ENBoost correctly by going to this MOD.http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/73618/? It has two folders: Default and Less Stuttering. So I just tried copying oneof those into my main Skyrim folder. Isn't it how ENBoost installed, am I missing a step? I'll go through your links and get back to ya. laiilaiiheii
Your pc can, it's quite the beast ;)Skyrim engine even with skse and enboost.. not so much ( it definitly makes a deifference though!) Your missing threads section in your enb ini. So enboost is not set up correctly. I strongly advice to watch at least gophers videos on skse and enboost, if time is precious and you don;t have time to watch the ones above ;)
bullittls7
Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know, I did a clean install of Windows 10 then Skyrim and could not get realvision to work, so what I did was tried an older version of enbhost which was 0.262 istead of 0.279 and everything works but dof, not sure why but I've given up on trying to get it to work, I have about 40 other mods installed and its running great so I'm going to leave it at that. ironbender800
In your SKSE ini the scrap heap size shouldnt be changed leave it at 256. Use memory blocks log to determine top number. as for ENBoost and enb local settings.... http://wiki.step-project.com/Guide:ENBlocal_INI/Memory http://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost even with a 980ti your video memory size should and will be set to 3714 due to windows 10 4gb limit
