Tanniss Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 Ok here it is i have two issues that i don't quite understand First issue is when i try to start a new game in origins after i pick the race the player model disappears so i cant do anything with modding my players appearanceand my second issue is i cant pick but one race human and i have hunted for solutions to these issues to no availi tried rolling back the game to 1.03 but still have the same issue only mods i have installed are the DLC's as well as the utility sack mod return to korkari wilds the undead mod as well as the camp chest mod the inverness mod and sarbarra companion mod i have tried it with these disabled and still nothing.I couldn't find answers on these topics so please don't kill the poor new guy for posting here if i did so in error but if anyone can help me i would really like to be able to play as other races and fix my character to look how i would like instead of bald and yes i have googled the issues and there have been no answer to these particular questions Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Can you change gender, but then you can't change race? Is everything except "Human" greyed-out? http://www.dragonagenexus.com/imageshare/images/1678793-1311293297.pngright i get that screen initially but there is only the human race the others arent there at all and when i pick the human race (which is the only thing im able to pick the model actually goes poof and after picking class it goes to the customize screen and there is nothing no model nothing now i can enter through it and select skills and everything else and thats fine. The odd thing is it doesnt do that to me when i load awakenings it gives me the normal specs and even allows me to modify appearance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Thandal Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 Well obviously something has buggered-up your Character Creator. :confused: I'm not familiar with many of the mods you mentioned, so can't say if any of those might have done something specific. At this point I'd say a complete un-/re-install should clear things up. Just back-up your "\Characters" folder first. (I know, the uninstall routine gives you the option to keep your chars and saves. Good Luck, and let us know how it goes! roger that thank you for the assistance i kind of figured i was going to have to do an uninstall i was just hoping for a different solution as for the saved games they arent anything to speak of so losing them since they are already tagged with the mods i had attached make em obsolete i dont trust the force load feature but thank you very much for the help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
