well were not expecting to add static player guards to the game, we do strongly concider making the player able to have his/her own thalls and vampires (and undead for those ho masterd blood necromancy) these obviusly can be comanded to stand guard somwere. i cannot however promise this will be in the first full relese.

Progres is dubble sided, the scripting is making a steady climb but will take time, also WarRatsG has a life just like the rest of us, right now he's realy preocupied with both this and very inportant personal buisnes, frankly i don't think he has time to do anything else anymore so any peaple that can help him would be great, but were getting there.

NPC, the good news is BenceBence joined the team an will start work on it but right now his laptop died on him, also it's a huge job for 1 man so again additional peaple working AI and dialogue are of great use.

now on the bright side, i spend a huge part of my vacation doing Havens and they are all done, and frankly way more intersting than any location in vanilla oblivion, and since there is spare time for me i'll be adding even more points of interest.

also extra time will bet put into other visuals, like custom clothes and armor for the npc, by now i'm convinced i've added custom arms and armor to guards and elders already and it does make the world that much intersting. so a"thank you everyone that helped out by sending mods to me'', seems apropate, keep it going :thumbsup:

also great news; work on quests has started aswell so i can confirm they will be there in furst full release.

guests will all be unique in nature, just like the clans they will have something for every kind of player, for example there will be classic fighting, horror, ethical struggles, intersting challanges, questianl romance, and more

best part is if you don't like something, say you don't like fighting or romance mods, you can just skip over that stuff and do something else, you just play how you want to play.

 

the short version is, the big picture is coming along great, extra workers on AI, dialogue, quests and scripts is will greatly speed up the proces.

as far as release dates go, i could not say it greatly depends on the aditional help we receve.

Progress is OK, As Urko says havens are being completed but are yet to be populated, and he really has worked wonders on some of those buildings which you may have noticed in the original release.

 

I have been building the new Blood and humanity systems, next will be the age system. If there is time, a system for thralls and vampire acolytes - the difference being one drinks your blood and the other is a vampire you have turned - will be added. Finally, necromancy will receive a few new features, although probably not in this release. Plus I don't really want to make necromancers have tonnes more content than any other clan, so they will suffer many penalties.

 

A poll will soon be added to give you the choice of what you get to preview :)
