It is a relief to know one of (and possibly my #1) favorite mod is being revived after all this time. It was a huge let-down to know the only genuinely interesting (to me at least) vampire mod out there might die, never to be fully appreciated. So, here are a couple suggestions in case you would like to hear them :).

First of all, I really do enjoy the political aspect of the clans, but there seems to be a few suggestions favoring a more light-hearted approach to vampires. While politics are certainly important when regarding clans, and being discovered is certainly not something anyone wants as a vampire, please never forget that vampires are not kind-hearted creatures and are thus not typically bound by morals. While the council of elders is certainly important, if a vampire's truly evil nature is to be unleashed without restraint, they can't be given laws such as "don't feed on people who don't deserve it!", "don't drain too much blood and hide your corpses now!" and "wash behind your ears!".

While there are obviously some important laws, such as not giving away the clan's secrets, revealing or harming another clan member, so on and so forth, these laws should be in regard to the political society the vampire clans have established through their truce. Outside of the clan, at least in my opinion, vampires should be free to feed and manipulate whoever they please, so long as it does not harm the clans.

Once again tapping into the political aspect of the clans, it is obvious that members of other clans should not be infiltrating each others' homes, though they may contain valuable information. This in mind, perhaps the more stealthy guilds could give the player quests to sneak into another clan's castle or other form of dwelling to retrieve an item, information, so on and so forth. I do love stealth-based missions, and since detection by another clan's members in their own home would generally be a bad thing for both the player and his/her guild, it could put an exciting twist to the politics surrounding the vampire clans behind the scenes.

Just two suggestions there, in case you like such ideas :) thank you for reviving this excellent mod.

Crime is probably the area I am most interested in. Our idea of what "crime" is changes a lot, but right now, a vampire can break any mortal law he wants, provided he doesnt reveal the council. If you reveal your own identity, the council doesnt have to care, the vampire hunters will come down on you anyway.

Then of course, the council has just one law: wash behind thy ears ;)

Break a council law and youre screwed, unless you can pay a substantial blood fine. If you cant, maybe they will just harvest it from you.

There is plenty of subterfuge, some of it the player can take part in ;)

Thanks for your support :D

maybe you could create more than the usual human vampire hunter also a kind of secret police if a vampire breaks the rules of the council or of his clan in the case he was discovered by vampires even if not by humans Edited by davi22pd
