TarraxIronwolf
I've noticed that every time I obtain a new suit of power armor in the game and the return to the game the next day that it will have auto downgraded to a T45. For example just this past weekend I obtained a T60 suit, fixed it, and then quit for the evening. When I returned to playing the next afternoon, it was now a T45 (with pieces missing). Each time I return to the game, a left arm will be gone, but the right leg has returned, or the helmet will be missing. I don't have any power armor mods (or any mods which affect power armor in any way), so I don't know what would be causing this problem. Thanks in advance. EvilGeoff
This has been reported on Reddit, Steam and other places. The most likely culprit seems to be a mod that effects settlement cells like Scrap Scrap. Check out the Nexus page for any of the mods you have installed, and see if they have any warnings about something called "the cell reset bug". Some have patches that are supposed to fix this glitch. It has also been reported that power armor frames that are BOUGHT from merchants do not suffer from this glitch, it seems to only affect the frames you find around the game. EvilGeoff
Other possible solutions: #1 - Save (not quicksave) BEFORE you do this. If you are on a PC, exit your armor, strip the parts off of it so you just have the frame standing there. Open the console (press the "~" key), click on the frame so the ID number appears, and type in "setownership". Close the console, put your parts back on it. This may fix the glitch on that frame. Try to recreate the bug. If your armor stays fixed, repeat the process with each of your armors, one at a time. Supposedly player built/owned frames will not be effected by the cell reset bug.#2 - Buildable Power Armor Frames mod - https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/3960065-power-armor-bug-resets-to-t45/ Edited May 11, 2016 by EvilGeoff
