Which faction did you side with?

I guess your right, but still NCR seems like the only choice to me who is bringing about order in a way that is not entirely evil. People aren't being crucified for being hustlers for example. And they don't treat women as slaves.. House is too "Im the only hope for humanity" and as a lone courier I don't want too, nor do I think I would have the time to run the strip. In any event we already know at the end of independent new vegas story that yes man takes over, and says he will be more assertive whatever that means..

He can't just go out and help everyone in the world with his limited police force. Of course he can't do a thing with a few robots. Once he has a entire army it changes everything.

Guess who isn't giving any of that food and water to freeside? Right, the NCR.

The NCR does not give communities electricity outside of themselves, it provides its own communities with electricity.

No, maybe not the whole world, but pulling a few pipes that provide potable water into Freeside and supply the people with food shouldn't prove too difficult for der Führer of New Vegas. But does the high and mighty Robert House bother himself to have his minions do that? Nah man, he just lays in his test tube in the Lucky 38 fortress of Doom, counting his caps and twirling his mustaches.

Elizabeth Kieran and her group at least tried, they even tried to broker a deal with the Kings only to have it sabotaged by Pacer, as Dan3345 pointed out. What did House ever try to do for Freeside? To (badly) paraphrase Epicurus: is House willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is impotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then why does Freeside starve? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why let him rule over New Vegas?

Why should they just dole out electricity to anyone, unless they agree to accept NCR law and be incorporated into the Republic? Once the NCR has routed the Legion and controls the dam they can focus on improving living conditions in the Vegas area.

Mr House was not able OR willing BEFORE he got his robot army.

Why should house help anyone if they don't agree to accept his law? It works both ways.

The NCR controls the water pipes, and Mr House already made it clear that the NCR controlled the water pipes. If no water is getting to freeside that is the NCRs issue.

You need to realize he couldn't do jack s*** until he got his army. He only had a small police force and needed to keep control of what he had until he could get his army.

Elizabeth Kieran had trouble even getting that mission approved. That does not show anything at all.

If you think that House couldn't do anything before the Courier upgraded his Securitron army, you're totally forgetting about House's three families, the Omertas, Chairmen and the White Glove Society. They're the ones who renovated the Strip to the state that's seen in-game and House could easily have ordered them to do something about Freeside.

Again, he chose not to.

Risk a war with the kings simply because?

You are forgetting the kings want to stay independent, I don't think that sending a bunch of mafias into freeside would be taken lightly.

The three family's are only for casino security anyways, you can start using them for armed soldiers. They are pretty much just cops.

I'm fairly sure the King would consider negotiations, he's clearly not unreasonable as he can be convinced to cease hostilities with the NCR.

And claiming that the three families can't be used as soldiers is just wrong, since that exactly what House did when he funded them and gave them weapons in order to drive the Great Khans away from the Vegas area.

And how do you think the NCR would react to Mr. House using them as a army?

The simple fact is that the warring with the legion and NCR makes it extremely hard for Mr. House to do much.

Why the NCR goverment has no interest to use the Securitron as expenable soldiers?

I think that NCR gov just don't trust the robots? is it true? any game's reference?

Because the secruitrons are entirely controlled by house?

That make sense, but why there's no line,no plans or any mission to takeover securitrons after the courier has arealdy reach and kill House?

They're really incapable to do that?
