Power Armor Shield

Hi Everyone

 

anyone think its possible to design a shield that depletes as it takes damage and then slowly recharges again over time,

 

looking for something similar to how the Plasma Shields function for Protoss units in starcraft.

I wondre if it's possible to add an item slot for power armour...
if it is, the thing could have a larger hit detection box for bullets and stuff maybe, as well as regenerating health, this would be a de-facto force field
failing that, tie it into the torso as a mod to that armour that you add

there's a mod called unnaked and it basically combines power armour's stats with normal armour worn's stats as long as you have at least one rank into toughness
if one made it so that power armour regenerated hp, then theoretically you could have... not forcefields, but it'd be incredibly easy to get a sort of "regenerative shield" like effect, from piece to piece, while allowing normal armour to matter as well should a piece become "destroyed" (it'll regen again)
if you coupled this with lowering the total health of PA by about 1/3 to 1/2, then PA becomes a lot more of an initial stage of encounter protection, and you get around the annoying repairing aspect, while also reducing its effectiveness while in longer firefights

making it overall, less annoying to use but more interesting too

Whilst extra effects and stuff are cool, I really want something visually,

 

I've been desperate for someone to make me a power armor model that matches my tech armor in my stories but yet i've found nobody so far willing to give it a go, My tech armor has shields, and I'd like it more for the visual (looks like my suit is super high tech and awesome) rather than for the sake of trying to OP stats or anything.
