Totally80s
Greetings and salutations to you all, I am new here and figured I'd introduce myself. I am a loving husband and father of three. I am a PC gamer mostly, I have had the consoles from PS2 to PS4 and gave up console gaming. I found myself way too addicted to it and it was really pissing my wife off. PC gaming is just as addictive but I find myself able to pull away much much easier and take a break for a few days or even a week. Something about the PS3 and eventually the PS4 had me needing or wanting to get on every single day for several hours a day..... but I digress. Around February 2016 I went back to PC gaming unfortunately I am limited to what I can play as my PC is not that good for the current games or even games from a few years ago for that matter. I actually never intended to play anything hardcore on it anyway because I was rocking the PS4 so when I bought it for a mere $350, I settled for the basics and just what I needed to handle business, web browsing, social media and things of the like. The specs can be found here ACER ASPIRE ZC . My previous device (Laptop) was awesome but it crashed and burned. I was playing Star Trek Online and Star Wars The Old Republic heavily and religiously. When I got rid of my PS4 I was looking to pick those games up again but found that my new PC couldn't even reach the minimum specs needed to play. That is when I decided to dig up my Steam Account and look for some older games that my PC could handle. I found a nice Star Wars bundle that my PC could handle... I played Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Outcast, and am currently playing KOTOR with Solomon's Revenge, and will jump to KOTOR 2 followed by Jedi Academy after that. Now that I have bored you all with my rambling I shall wrap this up with letting you all know I love all things 80s.... 80s Music, 80s TV, 80s Movies, 80s Cartoons, 80s Toys, and 80s Fashion. If it is 80s related than I'm interested. Born in the 70s, child of the 80s! I can usually be found hanging out somewhere between 1980-1989. It was a great era to have been a kid, teen, or adult in and I feel privileged to have been an 80s Child. Everything old is new again!
Lisnpuppy
HAI! And welcome! I am a mostly loving (ha ha) wife and mother of three. My daughter is graduating high school in 8 days! Being born in 1971 I also am a child of the 80s as are many of us here. So don't be surprised if you are not the oldest one here. lol Glad you found the PC gaming. However I must tell you that with mods you can make old games new (and usually better) again! Just do your research and get to know what mods do and how they interact with your machine (and its limitations) I think perhaps one of the greatest PC games made for RP is Morrowind and it might be right up your alley. Perhaps Fallout 3 would also be a good fit. Anyway welcome and goodluck! Have fun!!
