djmystro Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 I'm having some trouble with my 'Filename' box (the first box in add new file or edit file details).Basically no matter what I type in my filename box it comes back with a red outline, even when I just use letters and no spaces or anything else it says the name is invalid.I have tried to change my filenames several times (one in particular) and get this result with any new name so I tried adding a new file but got the same result. No matter what I type in that box it will not accept it.Also the search box on the right hand panel goes red too.It's been happening for a few weeks now and I thought it would resolve itself but evidently not so I'm seeking out professional help.Anything anyone can do would be much appreciated. tunaisafish Posted July 23, 2011 Share Posted July 23, 2011 I saw that too with IE7, One of my mods threads still has underscores instead of spaces as it was the spaces that it was being fussy over.I later changed it in IE by letting the top box stay red, and then editing the version number. Doing that turned both boxes green, so that might be a workaround. What browser and version are you using? I'm using Google Chrome now and it works fine. Half the page would not load (this time it was the 'edit file details' page). I think Dark0ne fixed it before so I messaged him about it already. I'm not sure that this can fix the changing names of existing files coz they already have that info filled in but I can at least try it and I got to upload a new file. :)I'd give you kudos again but I already did.
