Old world blues installed.....cant use mods.....

When I install old world blues, its not allowing me to use the mods.

 

Im using the fallout mod manager but no matter what I change in that program it does not change the game. it only uses the dlc and nothing else. What could be causeing this?

It could be a mod doing this, so I think I should just delete all the mods and install the mods again. whats a good way on doing that?

Wow, you're running over 200 active mods! I don't think that you can do that any more since 1.4. Pare it down to less than 100 and it may work. Edited July 23, 2011 by maboru

Oh, if you used FOMM to install (which is a good idea) them just uncheck them. If you used the Fomod function just double click to deactivate. If I were you I'd decide which mods I really want to keep (less than a hundred) and delete the rest. (You can always exchange them later on.) Be aware that many mods add textures and meshes that can conflict with other mods and those stay in your data folder even if you uncheck the .esp's. Get your mod list down to something manageable and then we can help you with the load order (.esm's first then .esp's.)

Well there not all activated just some of them are and im to lazy to remove them from the list. But anyway No matter what changes I made to the mod list. It does nothing to the game. Like for example turn the dlc off. In the game the dlc will still be active.

The old 'magic number' was one hundred-fifty active, now it's less than one hundred. You're unlikely to ever get the game off the ground like that! We're unlikely to be able to help you unless you can "Cut It Down to 3:05" (That last is a reference to an old R&R song...never mind... before most people's time!)

Okay well I removed all the mods and reinstalled the game and dlc. But it still does not allow me to change on what I can turn on or not. Like I go to Fallout mod manager, select oldworldblues off and when I play the game it still says that it is still on. So whats causing this? the new update or what?

Do you mean the Nvamp mods? If so its in the http://www.newvegasnexus.com Just use the search on it. Or if not I hear theres ppl that searches for the mods your looking for or something like that on the forums.
