Voice Modulation

I think there's a few that would like this to work Ketillion. There appears to be what looks like a full face Combat Helm in the Far Harbour trailer, maybe Bethesdoid have added the voice filter to that.

 

Googlewebbing around about adding the effect will lead you back to the Nexus forums, seems no one has the answer just yet. I'll have another look but there's more chance of pigs flying than me sussing it out...

I'm guessing, but I think it's the keyword "ma_PA_Helmet" or "dn_PowerArmor_Helmet"

 

In FO3/NV this was controlled by a flag but it's not so simple in the new GECK.

 

The audio chain that affects is it is AudioEffectChainPowerArmorHelmet, which is linked to "Default Objects" PowerArmorHelmetEffect and PowerArmorHelmetEffectFP (ppresumably First Person). How these are connected to the keyword (or other means if I am guessing incorrectly) is beyond me at the moment.

 

The effect chain is just an overdrive and a simple high pass filter at 1000 mhz.

Thanks for the info mm. I've looked through the new Geckation Kit trying to figure it out and just ended up staring blankly at the screen (I'm good at that).

 

Cheers anyways. I'll keep on it, maybe I can will it to happen if I stare long enough...
