jjb54
Okay, I've read the on-line helps - guides - suggestions and .... Still my traps lay EMPTY. * BLINK * I even threw in: * wild dog meat.* Mirelurk meat* Even the remains of Strong and some other mutants.* Threw in veggies and fruit. They remain empty. Yes, I know where I planted them there are fresh catches to be had. Then I read other's are having issues in catching anything, let alone knowing if you can train and such? So has anyone had any success, without console commands to get these Cages to actually work in catching anything alive? I read a couple of OP where they 'cheated' and put console commanded the creature / beings into the cage ... but usually afterwards wound up, in the case of Deathclaws and such being, well the after the fact "Bait" ... Read: KILLED.
Kanegasi
I can't remember where I read this, but it can take several ingame days for a trap to "catch" a mob. I think it's 5-6 days. Also, they spawn in there. It doesn't actually attract a wild one and catch it.

I guess I was just getting too anxious and wanted 'sooner than later' ... I'll go try again ... Thanks again!! :)
mfree80286
Aside from the time factor, gotta cover the basics... you have powered them, right?

Right ... :) And yes, I'm fine with that question as I have often asked other's the basics too. :)
Mavkiel
I am less then thrilled with the workshop. I built a sloppy but epic amount of traps, ran off for a week. Figured they'd all be filled. No they were all damaged in a raider attack. *mutters* On a side note how do the actual *traps* in the dlc work? If they kill a critter does it give you exp? Thinking of making a deathclaw sausage factory. Throw the power switch, a dozen doors open and all the critters get ground up.
