  1. Anyone else think of southpark banking episode? I see myself depositing money and then them turning around and saying it's gone.
  2. Honestly I see a dropdown menu being created for mods when exiting reality. So you can select which reality to enter in. To add to this, I'd like to see an Armageddon type scenario. Terrrormorphs overrun just about everything.. All cities infested. Few Space stations hanging on by a thread. In order to progress the plot and leave you would have to land in destroyed cities, gather up info on relics while combating aliens and looting the remains of shops/etc.
  3. It would make sense. At least for the first rank for just about any skill. Want diplomacy? Pay a fee, sit in a class get first rank free. Rest of it you have to actually use to increase.
  4. Easy solution for this, once the kit comes out is to change the requirement. Honestly the challenge doesn't even make sense. Oh great, I am good at fighting in a fighter, now lets put me in a star destroyer.... at least with weapon improvements I can sort of wrap my head around being better at using weapons and getting better results. A better method would simply be taking a class and paying a fee. Go to a flight school, shell out the cash walk out with that ability.

  6. Going from memory, aid items in other games were actually semi useful. Really useful if the game had survival on. IMO they created food when they were still thinking of implementing a survival system and never rebalanced it to make food worthwhile.
  7. Don't get me wrong, I like the idea behind starfield.. but I find the implementation lackluster. I wonder how long it will be til someone spruces up the main/side quests... Honestly I am just comparing and contrasting quests in this game vs cyberpunk, and there is a clear winner... Heck it wouldn't take much to turn neon into a more lively city. Heck we could even have max tech and trauma team. Create a modified 'space ship' that drops off the units... for cyberware, that should be fully possible as well.. Anyhow I just wanted to ramble after doing a quest and thinking to myself, man, cyberpunk did these type of encounters far better. For example approaching an npc, in cyberpunk they will often brandish weapons or stand in a threatening manner. Starfield, they are relaxing and look like they want to ask me out for a cup of tea. (In other words, the stance of the npcs should match the tone/situation, brandish weapon, get in my face etc.) edit: Which also leads into problem number 2. New game+ Seriously they need to add more to that. Show us getting the ship/suit at the very least. Also add in some way to bring *something* back with us. Maby a single outfit and two weapons. That way it doesn't feel like a waste finding/creating something unique just to bin it once you run through the game.. at the same time the limit on carrying over items would make you scramble for filling in gaps in your armory and ammo. Also, imo should probably tweak new game+ to add in some more unique things. (From staring out with a bounty, starting as a member of a faction... having the adoring fan type npc without the trait..) edit2: Oh and ships.. Us bringing new ships into new game+ would break the game. However they should add in a blueprint saver.. No way am I spending hours creating my perfect ship to just trash it. (Also some of the ships others have come up with are amazing looking, and I want.. -- Which also reminds me of we should be able to "buy" robot companions. That way my one ship I use for knocking over banks doesnt have narcs aboard.
  8. It's because the standards are rather unclear at the moment. Replacing lgbtq flags get your mod pulled. (Author also got banned but there was a second account involved). Then there is the pronoun thing, where a person simply didn't want to see it at character selection, kind of silly imo, but that mod got pulled as well. Walking animations could be seen as making that character more "straight". Thus at the very least getting the mod pulled and author potentially banned.
  9. Sure it's possible. Will likely have to wait until the construction kit though. Right now only way of putting new armors into the game is replacing an existing armor... Can't see many folks being thrilled with more then one iron man running around. For example the Mando armor replaces Bounty hunter outfit... which isn't exactly a commonly seen set.
  10. I really have to wonder why they bothered to add in emp weapons if they didn't account for it in quests. Tried it several times in missions where I had to arrest a person. Ended up having to shoot them in the head because the quest wouldn't complete.
  11. Hi, I am not trying to stir anything up, but I think clarification on what types of mods are allowed or not allowed would be helpful. For example the whole removing of pronoun mod. I personally *don't* care about that mod, but it does make me far more cautious about the types of mods that nexus will allow. For example real mods I'd be tempted to create once the creation kit comes out... United Colonies - Demographic wise it doesn't make sense. Walk into any room you will find a every race and gender represented and several unique accents. I'd be leaning towards making them far more Indian dominated, with a smattering of other groups. Crimson Fleet -- To many women, I have a hard time buying a 50/50 split in the homicidal maniac department. Spacers -- In vanilla they are to tame. They really should be the boogyman everyone hates. No crime off the tables, give the player an actual reason to hate them. -- To be fair out of all my mod ideas this one I have the least concern over getting banned on. That being said, not sure if any of those mods would either be pulled or get me banned.
  12. Dump question, if you only output one item, can that one item have a script attached to it? Say you craft an "ammo box", when the box is consumed it then outputs everything else.
  13. Sweet. Honestly just waiting for this mod to release for my next playthrough. That and debating what sort of weather mod to use.
