Rhutos
I need a 1800 x 1400 x 600 box nif that can be selected (in workshop mode - as workshopobject) but does not collide with Actors (And if possible, don't turn them transparent on overlapping)I tried it by myself, using 3DSMax 2016 and NifSkope 2.0 but I couldn't figure it outAll tutorials are for skyrim nifs
DarthWayne
I don't think you can select objects without collision in workshop mode. At least you can't use an activator without collision and I think it was the same with workshop mode. Just remove the collision object from any nif and you can test it yourself. If this works in your case, you can give it collision only on the floor to move the item around...
Ethreon
Just use a tiny collision and put it at the bottom of the box. Without collision you can't have selectable obj in workshop.
Rhutos
Thanks for your replies. Unfortunately in most of my attempts the game just crashes.
DarthWayne
Use the sanitize options in the spells menu of NifSkope and Batch -> Update all tangent spaces in the same menu. This fixes most crash causes.
JuJooGuppy
They are correct, without the collision, you can't select it properly. Perhaps there is a workaround, but not any that I am aware of.As for crashes, there are unfortunately a ton of things that can cause it. It can be as simple as an extra blank space at the end of a directory path in the file (Had that one before.. took me ages to find it...). Maybe get your nif together and upload it, someone can take a quick look and try to help you out.
