swedishmeatball
Edit: ACK! I didn't realize it didn't show what I wrote in the title! The last word was "Explored." Sorry!--- Okay. I checked the page and saw no requests for anything like this. Also I checked EVERY mod that had the word 'map' in it's title (Which can get very frustrating and disappointing at times, heh) and found no help.. Sorry for the fact that this is my second request, also. Okay. Now that my hurried attempts at not getting yelled at are done- on to the request. What I'm requesting is a map much like the Morrowind map. I'd like to have the map color in the places your character has roamed, so you don't find yourself running over and over the same place again, without realizing until they check the local map.. (As Sheogorath I was searching for "odd" items for the museum, and found myself retracing my steps too much. Veeery agitating..) I don't care if it's in blocky pixels like in Morrowind, nor do I care if it looks funny in the middle or in the end of venturing the areas. I just wish I knew where I'd been before! So, if anyone can, please make a map that shows a sign- maybe a tint of color- that you've been in that area and walked around before. And please tell me if it's impossible. :P Then I won't have to look around so much.
leetgamer
umm.. bethesda provided us with a thing called a minimap... ever heard of it before? ---Your local dude with a funny name, Chin---
tsolless
She's talking about how on the MAIN map how you should be able to see which places you've entered. Now it just shows that you've been near it. Mini map has nothing to do with that stuff.
swedishmeatball
chingun: Okay, for one, I KNOW what the minimap does, you sarcastic little *censored*. On the main map it's easier though. I don't want to have to travel every single area, just to check the minimap to see if I've been there when I am ALREADY THERE. And, sorry, Tsolless, I mean no disrespect, but I'm a girl, not a guy. Vagrant0
The main map is pretty much static. The only way you can really know where you've been is to use a combination of both the mini-map and landmarks. Whatever system existed to allow the map to be uncovered like it was was removed when the map became a graphic with landmarks instead of a composite of cells. This was probably done to make the map easier to read and help facilitate the fast travel system, in addition to making it more idiot friendly since you can see where all the roads, towns, lakes, mountains, and other stuff are. Please try and stick to the rules. I wish I actually knew what he said, I didn't see. :/ Understood, Vagrant, thank you. I just worry because it's tiring going over places without remembering exactly where I've been. I'm horrid with memory.
leetgamer
[Well, that was indeed pure spam...... It was related to the sarcastic *censored* thing, check my sig.If you agree to that, visit this forum. It is basically a forum related to the game freelancer, but you will pick up there in the flame pit the most funniest things ever. You can use that to do a spam war here :P. btw i just installed morrowind VIA torrents. Here is my opinion about the game 1) For an hour it is exciting to play this game with cool art2) You suddenly feel that Oblivion beats the graphics, poor face textures and armor, dumb combat movement3) The colors of the magic was better than oblivion, more fanasy-like4) You start getting bored, you dont have a clue how things work and you wish that you could fast travel5) Screw this, morrowind is dumb!I dont know why they didnt add a minimap to Oblivion tho, that helped. ---Your local dude with a funny name, Chin---
