suzypike
Hi Everyone,You all have helped me mod an awesome new Morrowind. The only thing I am still lacking is landscape mods. I have Ascadian Isles and the Bitter Coast looking awesome. Sadly, the rest of Morrowind looks pretty bare in comparison. I tried Leafy West Gash- I installed it 3 or 4 times, but absolutely nothing happens. I moved it to the bottom of my load order too. It's like it's not there. Could someone recommend some landscape overhauls for the rest of Morrowind? I am looking for leafy and pretty. I don't really care about staying true to the game. I did that the first go around. I just hate looking at the areas around Balmora and Adruhn. I wish I could turn the whole place into a jungle- or at the very least, a very pretty desert! :D Oh- and one thing. I'd rather not use MGE, so that sadly, rules out several good mods. Are there mods that I've overlooked to beautify the rest of Morrowind? Thanks!suzy
AurianaValoria1
I would recommend "Green Morrowind," but it seems you've already downloaded that. :) Other than that, I'm not sure. You might also want to dig around this site. http://www.elricm.com/nuke/html/modules.php?op=modload&name=Downloads&file=index It's a pretty old site, and I'm not sure how often it is updated, but there are some real gems there that you might not find anywhere else. It's worth a look, at least.

And they both worked right in with my game in progress with no problems. I am going to check out the site you recommended. Thanks! suzy
Balakirev
Better Balmora is an excellent choice, as it avoids going overboard as another, very popular Balmora mod has. Carnajo did some fine city architecture mods, as did Korana. Telesphoros' List has links to them. One of my favorites, and I know it's very odd, is Brash's. The effect is bright, colorful, almost like a storybook land.

But, will it not conflict with every other Landscape mod that I already have?Gosh! It's so pretty it almost deserves another playthru just to see it all! I'm going to check out the architecture mods. I've noticed a lot of them, but now that they are narrowed down a little, looking through them doesn't seem so intimidating. Thanks! suzy
suzypike
Okay, I can't find a download for Brash's mod. I was going to download it, even if I couldn't use it right now. I got all of Carnajo's architecture mods. I love them. I was afraid that my game in progress was gonna explode when I added them, but it didn't even flinch! One more thing... I am searching myself, but does anyone know of a mod that adds plant life to Sadrith Mora and the other Telvanni areas without really changing the landscape. I love the unique look of that area, and so far I haven't changed it except for just the architecture textures. I would like more foliage though- to make it a little more lush. It's called Fantasy Color Morrowind--and yes, it would overwrite a number of things. It's pretty all-encompassing, but if you like the color choices, it is fantastic. One more thing... Everything I've seen changes what's there, replacing rather than simply adding to. But I'll keep an eye out for anything!
suzypike
I found a little grass mod for Azura's Coast to use. It just adds a few clumps of grass and flowers here and there- just enough to perk things up. I am very happy with it. I also added Vurts Grazeland Trees (Japanese) which perk up areas like Vos. Now I'm set!!! ..maybe... until I get another bright idea.... :whistling: I think I figured out Brash's from the link you posted. It just calls the download something else. I'm going to download and save it. I may never stop playing Morrowind- there's just still so much to do! (totally unrelated.. I've switched back and forth between Morrowind and Oblivion so much in the past couple of days that I've given myself a headache... ) suzy
AurianaValoria1
And there's always Tamriel Rebuilt to add to the list, too... :whistling: I don't have it yet, myself. But I plan on getting it sometime after I finish an Oblivion mod I'm working on.

That was before I had all the cool tools that I have now. Hmmmmmm.... :whistling: (..if there is a new thread later called "Help with Tamriel Rebuilt" you'll know it is all AurianaValorial's fault...) suzy
