billyro
it would also be a good idea if one's ability to detect you were dependent upon a factor of their perception & sneak skillsI agree, the other guard should have immediately taken cover/ran away/hid in a corner or something. I think that Self-preservation should be heavily weighted when it comes to an invisible or unseen enemy. If the guard isn't scared by that for some reason, then he should at least jump for cover, then he should maybe start sneaking and walking around to look for you.Exactly! This would make the game way more fun. If I was sitting in a room with a bunch of people dressed in the same clothes, and they started dying one by one, I'd duck for cover. TKHawke
If a lot of the stuff would work like you guys are talking about I'd really love that. I always like being the rogue. I was never one for brute strength, always speed over strength. Oblivion didn't work out so great stealth wise and daggers were useless to me. But it looks like daggers will actually be of use to me since they'll do extra damage for the stealth backstabs.(according to the skyrim info thread) oh and billyro, I must confess I sat here and went through all those spoilers in your sig before posting this.....
billyro
It's cool, isn't it? :P What you say is true. Unless you are in good lighting conditions and against one person with his back turned to you, and you have a high sneak skill and a high blade skill, you won't even kill him. reveffect
Holy crap I forgot to revisit this post. But yeah, nice ideas guys. I wanted to add more but it is really early in the morning and I can't remember :wallbash:
TKHawke
Haha just do what that happy face in your post is doing. It'll come back to you  But anyways, I'm not sure if it was covered in here or the skyrim info list but what about throwing a weapon? I loved that feature from DR6 when I was doing stealth kills. I mean bows should be great now since they doing a power boost on them but I'd still like to be able to throw a dagger into my victim from the shadows. Maybe I'm just missing the throwing knives, darts and stars from morrowind.....
hector530
not really about stealth but poisoning your blade should last 10-30mins instead of one strike.
