TripleSeven
During the Dealing With Contreras quest, while speaking to Keller, I'm supposed to be presented with the option to call him out on the fact that he is a Ranger if my perception is at least 7. My perception is currently 9, and yet every time it acts as though I failed the dialogue check. This is particularly odd since, not only is the failure dialogue preceded by a confirmation that I've passed the perception check ([Perception 7]) it doesn't give me the red coloring around the option indicating that it should fail. Though it (appropriately) does if my perception is 6 or below. I've gone into the GECK and looked at the dialogue, and the only conditions seem to be whether or not the player's current perception (made sure it wasn't a base value thing) is greater or equal to seven, and yet for some reason the success option never appears in-game. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I can't seem to find anything that would explain why the success option isn't being displayed despite the game acknowledging that I've passed the stat check. (Small note: The first part of the failure dialogue consists of "[iNT/PER]" despite there being no actual intelligence check in the dialogue that I can find, and even if there were, my INT is 10. Probably not relevant, but thought I'd mention it) Edited July 28, 2011 by TripleSeven
